Investing 4.1 billion dollars to build a state-of-the-art aluminum recycling and rolling facility at the South Alabama Mega Site in Bay Minette.
This project will create approximately 1,000 jobs. A new Advanced Manufacturing and Leadership Training Center is also underway at Prospect Park.

ALDI

Completed a 564,000 square foot regional headquarters and distribution center in Loxley with 100 million dollars in investment.
This project generated 200 jobs and is anchoring new economic activity.

Segers

Segers, a one-stop shop propeller system provider for the C-130 aircraft, has called Baldwin County home since 2008.
Starting with 75 employees, the company has grown to a thriving team of 200, showcasing Baldwin’s strength as a hub for aerospace innovation and growth.

Hatch Fairhope

Hatch is a business hub providing facilities and resources for technology-based entrepreneurs in Baldwin County.
Funded by Coastal Alabama Community College, The City of Fairhope, and the Baldwin Community + Economic Development Foundation, Hatch is positioned as one of Alabama’s leaders in nurturing the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Imperial Dade

Imperial Dade, a leading distributor of food service packaging and janitorial supplies, developed a new 225,000-square-foot logistics hub in Loxley.
The facility represents more than $20 million in investment and creates 55 new jobs. Located along County Road 49 near Interstate 10 and the Port of Mobile, the Class-A industrial facility supports the company’s expanding Gulf Coast customer base.

Ecovery LLC

Ecovery, a Baldwin County-based, family-owned metal recycling company now in its third generation, recently completed its fourth expansion in ten years.

The new 100,000-square-foot facility specializes in shredding, granulating, and separating copper and aluminum bearing scrap. This $5 million expansion creates 30 new jobs and positions Ecovery as one of the Southeast’s largest non-ferrous metal processors.

Kaishan Compressor

Kaishan Compressor, the world’s third-largest air compressor manufacturer, established its U.S. corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Loxley in 2018.

The company recently invested over $11 million in an expansion to enhance manufacturing capabilities and create fifty new, high-paying jobs.

Chonex

Chonex, a soil health company based in Birmingham, expanded in Baldwin County with a new 90,000-square-foot processing plant.
The facility increases manure recycling capacity from one ton daily to twelve tons daily, cutting typical regenerative agricultural timelines from 8-12 years in half. This $12 million investment creates 145 jobs while supporting sustainable agriculture.
